Stop Stretching Your Lower Back.

Lower back pain in golf is rarely a problem with the lower back itself. The lumbar spine is the victim, not the culprit.

The Anatomy of the Swing

The lumbar spine only has about 10-15 degrees of rotational capacity. The thoracic spine (upper back) has roughly 45 degrees, and the hips have 45 degrees of internal rotation. When your upper back and hips are locked down, the rotational forces of a 100mph swing are dumped directly into the fragile discs of the lumbar spine.

The Solution

You must restore rotational capacity to the joints above (thoracic) and below (hips) the pain site. Our protocol specifically attacks these two areas, naturally reducing the shear forces on the L4-L5 vertebrae.
